Dimplex Vital Essence 42" Linear Electric Fireplace
Usually ready for pickup in 5–7 business days; we email you when it’s in.
Plug-in models need only a standard outlet. If yours is hard-wired or runs on 240V, any licensed electrical contractor can connect it: ask for a dedicated circuit for an electric fireplace and give them the installation manual on this page. We don’t recommend or arrange electricians.
The Dimplex Vital Essence is a 42-inch linear electric fireplace with a low profile that recesses partly into a 2x4 wall or fully into a 2x6 wall. Thirteen flame colours, three speeds and three brightness settings are set from the Glen Dimplex Connect app, the remote or the touch controls, and the fan-forced heater warms up to 1,000 square feet.

Read the installation manual before you buy. It has the framing size, clearances and electrical requirements, and it is the document a licensed electrician will work from.
